1. THE WEATHER – DUH…
Myrtle beach is home to a very mild climate during the Fall. The average temp is around 65-69 degrees and the water temp is around 60 degrees, it maybe a little to cold to swim but with November being the least rainy month in the fall, there are plenty of things to do.

The Grand Strand is an arc of beach land on the Atlantic Ocean in South Carolina, United States, extending more than 60 miles (97 km) from Little River to Winyah Bay. It consist of both Horry and Georgetown Counties.
With 60 miles of beaches, less crowds and mild weather you can sit and enjoy the sunrises, sunsets and the sounds of the waves all by yourself!
3. THE EVENTS
Myrtle Beach is home to several events, although the main event is in the summer “The Carolina Country Music Festival”, the Fall has many events that can be enjoyed outside with the great weather!

Brookgreen Gardens – Take a stroll through botanical gardens with 250 year old live oaks.
Horry County Bike Park – For those who want to get out and exercise, this is the place. It’s a 7 mile bike trail that twist and turns across 70 acres of land. Its nickname is “The Hulk”
5. THE GOLF COURSES
Last but not least, Myrtle Beach is known as the golf capital of the US. With 80+ golf courses to choose from ranging from links style to classic heathland style courses, theres a test for low and high handicappers. Fall golf is very sought after in Myrtle Beach because of the mild weather and course conditions.
